When is a kiss not just a kiss!

Yesterday was a good day, that Mr Sun was out early and decided to give me just a slight taste of what Matt had promised the weather was going to be like before I hopped on a passing Boeing 777 (well, OK it went 1200 miles out the way, but hey this is a blog and I'm using literary licence!) The temperature knocked on the door of 93f and the sky was so blue and so high I felt like a king walking upon this lovely earth. OK, maybe king is way too strong, but happy I was, even happier that for the first time in 7 days we hadn't caught a mouse in the humane traps on the floor, ye gods and little fishes (Sorry Anne, had to use it at least once! )
We had planned on taking a walk around Crab Orchard, but somehow 44000 acres seemed a little too much to tackle before lunch, so we just mooched and lazed about, which was exactly the right thing to do. However, don't think we stayed that way all day, oh no, lunch time we headed on over to meet up with Matt's parents, on the way we got a Taco Bell and then too the boonies, which is rolling countryside.
Betty & Steve had decided to take us to a special fish restaurant in Paducah in nearby Kentucky, so they gave Matt the keys to the lovely BMW SUV (Betty's smart black motor!) and off we zoomed, whizzing passed fields with cows, bulls and buffalo, the scenery is breathtaking in this part of the States. Once over the bridge above the mighty river and into Kentucky we found our way to downtown Paducah and right by the riverside was the flood walls, which is a kinda good place to have 'em really. Massive high walls, with gateways every so often, painted with huge murals telling the story of the river to keep the water out when it gets too high, which I guess is what you'd expect from a flood wall!
The restaurant, the Whalers Catch is a fine place, full of character and it's mainly seafood menu plenty of variety. Indeed I could eat there for half a year before I'd tried every dish on offer. Good company and good food, the perfect way to spend the afternoon and then with massive full bellies (Or was that just me?) it was off to the movies.
Matt Dragged me to hell, literally, Drag Me To Hell is the new Sam Raimi horror flick staring Justin Long and Alison Lohman, which is about, well not to give too much away, is about being dragged to hell! Matt assured his mom and myself that it wasn't that scary at all, both of us punched him on the arm for not actually speaking the exact truth ! It was a good movie, which had a chill and a scare factor that had the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end and my knees hugging my chest !
One of life's good days me thinks, today we're off to a different state, Missouri I believe, that is if Matt ever gets out of bed.
'A Kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh' 'If you wanna know if he loves you so...... it's in his kiss' 'Save all your kisses for me, save all your kisses for me!' 'Aint no particular sign I'm more compatible with, I just want your extra time and your kiss!' It matters not if you are more in tune with Prince than you are with the Brotherhood of Man, or if Louis floats your aural boat rather more than Cher, there is one thing that's clear, it is, as they all agree in the kiss!
I love a good kiss, a right out lip smacking full on snog, or just a pouting peck, I could make out for hours and hours just like a love sick teenager, to me kisses are important, important for me personally, important for a relationship, but now they are also important for equality!
What the flipping heck am I waffling on about this time you may swell be asking yourself, but wait one cotton picking second here chums, I speak the truth - kisses could help the good old US of A get equality, and what is more, the right kiss could earn you a whopping $10,000 (well it could if you are a same sex couple and live in America or Canada!)
