61 million! That's the amount of folk that live here in the UK according to the latest figures from the government released last week. Now, if you ask me, that sounds like a lot of people living on our tiny island, so I thought I'd do a little check around the world at other populations, plus the area in which they all live, just for fun you know! Some of the fact surprised me!

- As you can see from these stats, the UK is one of the most heavily populated countries given our rather small land mass, kinda explains why it all looks so busy and packed in town these days!
Also, this is all rather strange, but I'm doing this blog, to release at 09.09am on 09 Sept 2009 or rather 09/09/09 all rather strange, even stranger when you realise that 9th September is the 252nd day of the year, add 2, 5, 2 together and you get 9! Of course 999 is the number for the emergency services here in the UK, but turn it upside down and it's 666, the internationally renown number of the beast, the mark of the devil. Only time will tell what the days events will bring, I expect a lot and nothing, although many things have been predicted, including another terrorist attack like that of September 11th or July 7th, Apple may be launching the iTablet in San Francisco, the film 9 comes out.
