Yesterday I jumped on am Air Canada 777 and headed over the pond. Landed in St Louis yesterday evening and then took a transfer minivan down to Carbondale and checked in to Super 8 motel. Need to be all refreshed to meet up with Matt this evening. Now, the hotel is just over the highway to to the mall so me being the kinda shopper I am. I just had to risk life and limb crossing 7 lanes traffic. Then, you can picture the shock on my face, when I saw Matt's car parked in the car park and him in it, he was doing some last minute revision for a test at 1100 ! We were both left speechless. I was going to surprise him this evening by just turning up at the apartment with flowers, so wasnt really prepaid for bumping in to him in the car park of the local mall. To say he was shocked would be the under statement of this year. We've seeing each other tonight at 9 when he gets off work. My stomach is in knots and my pulse is pull racing. It wasnt supposed to be like this, but I guess its fate that I left the hotel without breakfast, decide to cross the road at that spot and he park in the area Id walk right by. It's gotta be fate. Now Im sitting in the mall and it's so empty, no one around, its like a ghost mall.
